Hi all, Let me explain my setup. I have 2 drives. One is the "C" drive, 80G with no partitions. I created a 50G partition on a separate hard drive for Vista. It is the "D" drive. It seems that when I install an app onto Vista and ask it to be placed on the "D" drive, it may put some (usually system files" or all of the app on the "C" drive no matter which way I come at it.
Is there a way to prevent this? Is this a Beta bug? I would hate to have to open the case and disconnect the "C" drive each time I install on the "D" partition on my "V" drive. Not much of a selling point lol.
Also, earlier I had posted about the inability to install my Netgear FX310TX network adapter. I purchased a D-Link 530TX+ and it installed beautifully. Vista will not allow me to remove the Netgear card stating it may not be able to start the program without it. My only workaround is to disable it. It is no longer physically in the case. Bug?
Thanks for reading
Connie
